About Lombok Seaplanes Desk
Lombok Seaplanes Desk is an independent coordination service published by Juara Holding Group, operating since 2015. We are not a seaplane operator and own no aircraft. Our role is to track route feasibility between Lombok and the Gili Islands, relay charter requests to licensed operators when routes exist, and arrange proven boat transfers in the meantime.
As of mid-2026, no scheduled, publicly advertised seaplane network serves Lombok, the Gili Islands (Trawangan, Air, Meno) or Mandalika. Every citable passenger option today is a boat plus a land transfer. This page explains what the desk does, what it does not do, and how a request reaches us.
What This Desk Does
- Route feasibility tracking. We monitor public permitting news and operator or government statements on Lombok-Gili seaplane access, including the NTB provincial waterbase discussions, and update this site when the status changes.
- Charter relay to licensed operators. When a guest wants a seaplane quote for the Bali-Lombok corridor, we pass the request to a licensed third-party operator such as Santai Seaplane Indonesia, which currently runs Bali-Lombok charters. We do not mark up or issue tickets without their direct confirmation.
- Resort tender coordination. For Gili resorts running their own boat tenders, we coordinate pickup timing with the resort’s front office so a Lombok-side transfer lines up with the resort tender.
- Boat fallback arrangement. Since no seaplane fare exists for this route yet, every current itinerary runs on public, fast, or private boats. We help a guest pick the right one and book it through vetted licensed partners.
What This Desk Is Not
We are not a seaplane operator, own or lease no aircraft, and are not affiliated with Santai Seaplane Indonesia, PT Aman Air, or any other operator named on this site. We are not a licensed financial, legal, or tax adviser. Juara Holding Group is a coordination desk, established 2015, that arranges travel logistics with licensed partners. Every quote we relay is subject to that partner’s own confirmation, pricing, and terms.
Why There Is No Seaplane Timetable Yet
Indonesia’s Ministerial Regulation on Water Aerodromes, issued August 2025, requires any seaplane to follow shipping-sector rules while on water, coordinate with coastal radio stations and vessel traffic services, and hold an operational coordination agreement with AirNav Indonesia and maritime units. ICAO guidance treats a seaplane as a vessel on the water and an aircraft in the air, which is why that dual coordination exists.
NTB tourism news dated 27 December 2025 said seaplane flights linking Lombok’s Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Airport (BIZAM) to small islands were being prepared for 2026. A report dated 28 February 2026 said the NTB provincial government and PT Aman Air signed a memorandum of understanding for a seaplane waterbase at Bendungan Batujai, Central Lombok, serving five NTB island destinations including Gili Trawangan — though the same report said take-off and landing permits for Gili Trawangan had not been issued, because the island sits inside a conservation area. Any full network beyond that is a projection, not a booked service, and we date-stamp every status update here for that reason.
What We Coordinate Instead: Lombok-Gili Boat Options
| Route | Boat type | Fare (per person) | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bangsal Harbour to Gili Air | Public boat | IDR 15,000 | About 20 minutes |
| Bangsal Harbour to Gili Meno | Public boat | IDR 18,000 | About 30 minutes |
| Bangsal Harbour to Gili Trawangan | Public boat | IDR 20,000 | About 40 minutes |
| Teluk Nare to any Gili | Fast boat | IDR 85,000-150,000 (US$5-9) | 10-15 minutes |
| Bangsal to any Gili (per boat) | Private speedboat | IDR 550,000 | About 15 minutes |
| Gili Air to Teluk Nare/Kodek (per boat) | Private speedboat | IDR 450,000 | 10-15 minutes |
Inter-Gili and Gili-Bangsal fast-boat fares generally run IDR 100,000-150,000 per person. Figures reflect 2026 published boat-operator guides, not a Juara Holding Group price list.
For guests routing from Bali, we coordinate against the published fast-boat schedule below.
| Departure port | Crossing time | Typical fare | Sample departures |
|---|---|---|---|
| Padang Bai to Gili/Bangsal | About 1.5 hours | IDR 250,000-350,000 | 08:00, 09:15, 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, 15:00 |
| Sanur to Gili | 3-3.5 hours | IDR 350,000-450,000 | 08:00, 09:00, 11:30, 13:00 |
| Serangan to Gili | 3-3.5 hours | IDR 400,000-500,000 | 08:30, 10:00, 13:30 |
Private charters also exist: Padang Bai to Gili (1-6 passengers) from IDR 3,500,000, or Sanur to Gili from IDR 4,500,000. A Lombok-airport package pairs a private car to Teluk Kodek with a water taxi for the final crossing. None of these are seaplane fares — they are the current, verifiable way to make the crossing.
Weather We Factor Into Every Request
The Lombok Strait carries strong currents and wind-against-current chop, worst during the monsoon transition. Dry season (roughly May-September) gives clearer visibility but stronger afternoon trade winds; wet season (roughly November-March) brings squalls that can cancel both future seaplane operations and today’s fast boats. A projected seaplane window would sit in the morning (08:00-11:00) and early afternoon (13:00-16:00), since low-light water landings are not standard practice — a planning assumption, not a confirmed timetable.
How Booking Works
- Send your route and dates. WhatsApp the desk with your Lombok-Gili leg, travel dates, and party size.
- We check current status. We confirm whether a seaplane option exists that week or the route runs on boats, and flag which licensed operator or boat service applies.
- You get a written quote. Pricing comes from the operator or boat service directly; we relay it without markup and note the source.
- You confirm with the operator or desk. Once accepted, the booking is placed with the licensed partner, and we coordinate timing with any resort tender involved.
- We send a day-of itinerary. You receive pickup points, contact numbers, and a weather contingency note before travel day.
Editorial Standards
This site publishes one named editor persona at a time; individual pages are not bylined, which keeps authorship consistent across the wider Juara Holding Group network. We do not publish fabricated reviews, ratings, awards, or credentials, and we do not claim affiliation with Santai Seaplane Indonesia, PT Aman Air, AirNav Indonesia, or any operator named here unless a direct partnership is stated in writing. Figures on this page are dated to their source and revised as the regulatory and operator picture changes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Lombok Seaplanes Desk a seaplane operator?
No. The desk is an independent coordination service published by Juara Holding Group, established 2015. It owns or leases no aircraft and is not affiliated with Santai Seaplane Indonesia, PT Aman Air, or any other operator named on this site. Every seaplane quote we relay comes directly from a licensed third-party operator, confirmed by them before booking.
Who owns and publishes this website?
Lombok Seaplanes Desk is published by Juara Holding Group, an Indonesia-based coordination and concierge business operating since 2015. The site is edited under one named editor persona rather than rotating per-article bylines, keeping authorship consistent across the wider Juara Holding Group network.
Can I book a seaplane flight between Lombok and the Gili Islands today?
Not on a scheduled basis, as of mid-2026. No publicly advertised seaplane network currently serves the Lombok-Gili corridor or Mandalika. A charter quote may be available through a licensed operator depending on your dates; otherwise we arrange the crossing by public, fast, or private boat, the only verified option today.
What happens if I request a seaplane and no route exists yet?
We tell you directly rather than stringing out a request. If no seaplane route is live for your dates, we quote the boat and land-transfer alternative instead, matched to your resort’s pickup point and the day’s weather. You decide whether to wait for seaplane service or travel by boat now.
Does the desk charge a fee on top of the operator’s price?
We relay licensed-operator and boat-service pricing as quoted to us; any service fee, when one applies, is disclosed in writing before you confirm. We do not mark up quotes silently, and pricing carries the date it was obtained since fares and surcharges change through the year.
